Ken Smith put a 1971 K20 body onto a 2001 Ram chassis to create a truck that pegs the meter for both reliability and cool factor. Still, Ken understands that no truck is bulletproof. He has plenty of seat time in his old flatfender that he took on Ultimate Adventure in 2013, his CJ10A pickup, and the Chevy/Ram hybrid. The issue with this truck is that the long wheelbase and relatively small 35-inch Falken Wildpeak M/T tires leave the rear driveline vulnerable in the longbed truck. The solution? Well, it’s a longbed, so Ken just carries a spare driveline with him!
